You have seen the movie Pay It Forward, and I want you to reflect over few things:
- What did you think about the movie?
- Did you like it? Why/why not?
- Was there anything specific that caught your interest?
- What do you think about Trevor and his intentions? Did he act properly when he tried to get his mother to be with his teacher?
- Do you believe that anybody has the chance to make the world a better place? Explain your thoughts!
I want you to reflect over your own good deeds.
- What are some random acts of kindness you practice?
- Can you remember a time when someone has been really kind to you? What happened? How did you feel?
- What are some reasons why people might hesitate to show kindness to others?
- Who is the kindest person you know? Explain.
Homework for next week (Wednesday): Do something kind for your family!
Wether it is helping out with the laundry, doing the dishes, cooking food...The point is to make someone happy!
You are going to make an oral presentation about your good deed and these questions might help you on the way:
- How was your good deed recieved by your family?
- Were they surprised by your action?
- Are they used to you helping them out?
- How did you feel making someone happy?
- Did you get a "Thank you"?
