Beginnings

Well, this is exciting; the fist blog post! I thought I would share some famous opening lines from different books and movies with you. Do you by any chance recognize these?

Books:

"In the beginning there was light..."

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness...."

"In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I’ve been turning over in my mind ever since..."

"All children, except one, grow up"

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”

Movies:

"As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster."

"3 billion human lives ended on August 29th, 1997. The survivors of the nuclear fire called the war Judgment Day."

"The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air."

"I believe in America. America has made my fortune."

"Who am I? You sure you want to know?"
